The Crusade Against "Cassandra"

This links to a letter I wrote to the Missouri Department of Mental Health in 2009. They were under the impression that the "Cassandra" phenomenon was actually something real. After I explained that it was extremely discriminatory against ALL people with disabilities, they removed it. Other sites have followed suit. Please join me by taking a few moments periodically to do a search on "Cassandra Affective Deprivation Disorder" and point out the anti-disability bias in the writings on this topic.
